Troubleshooting
If the Communication System does not function correctly, check the following.
Symptom
Cause
Solution
The power of the
system is not turned
on.
The power switch is not set to on.
Press the power switch to turn on the
power of the system (page 42).
The batteries in the Remote
Commander are low or dead.
Replace the batteries with new ones
(page 39).
The power of the
SRG-120DH HD
Camera Unit is not
turned on.
The DC 12V connector of the
supplied camera cable is not fully
connected.
Make sure it is connected fully and
securely.
The Remote
Commander does
not operate.
Pairing with the Remote
Commander fails.
Perform pairing of the Remote
Commander with the System (page
40).
No sound or the
volume is very low.
The volume of the system is too
low.
Adjust the sound volume by pressing
the /– buttons on the
Remote Commander (page 44).
The volume of the TV monitor is
too low.
Adjust the volume of the TV monitor.
The microphone on the remote
party is turned off.
Ask the remote party to turn on the
microphone.
Audio input is not selected
properly.
• Set up “Input Select (MIC)” on the
Basic Setup1 page of the Audio
setup menu properly (page 72).
• Set up “Audio Input” properly on
the Basic Setup1 page of the Audio
setup menu (page 72).
The microphone or external
equipment is not connected
correctly.
Check the connection (pages 173 and
177).
Picture is blurred.
Manual focus is selected but picture
remains blurred.
Adjust the focus (page 150).
When auto focus is selected, the
background is too bright, contrast is
too high, or the background or the
participants’ clothes contain fine
line patterns.
Select manual focus and adjust
manually (page 150).
