3. chroma vs. video_rate
In case of 4:2:0, the highest video bit rate is 15Mbps
and the lowest is 4Mbps.
• “video_rate upper limit is 15Mbps”
• “video_rate
≤
15” (message for the front panel)
• “video_rate lower limit is 4Mbps”
• “video_rate
≥
4” (message for the front panel)
In case of 4:2:2 other than for the IMX, the lowest
video bit rate is 6Mbps.
• “video_rate lower limit is 6Mbps”
• “video_rate
≥
6” (message for front panel)
4. video_rate vs. ts_rate
(1) If video_rate = “auto”, ts_rate = “auto” and
rtp_tx = “off” or “RTP option is not mounted”,
the video bit rate constitutes the highest bit rate
for the mode.
4:2:0: video_rate = 15Mbps
4:2:2 not IMX: video_rate = 30Mbps
4:2:2 IMX: video_rate = 50Mbps
and then the ts_rate is calculated. If the
calculated ts_rate is larger than allowable, the
following message appears.
“too large data for TS”
“too large stream” (for the front panel)
(2) When video_rate = “auto”, ts_rate = “auto”, and
rtp_tx = “on”
Setting ts_rate to the maximum value (35 Mbps)
when an MSBA-20IP is installed, the video_rate
is back-calculated.
If the calculated video_rate is larger than the
maximum allowable value for the mode, the
maximum value for the mode is made the
video_rate.
4:2:0: video_rate = 15Mbps
4:2:2 not IMX: video_rate = 30Mbps
4:2:2 IMX: video_rate = 50Mbps
If the calculated video_rate is smaller than the
following minimum allowable value for the
mode, it constitutes an error.
4:2:0: video_rate = 4Mbps
4:2:2 not IMX: video_rate = 6Mbps
4:2:2 IMX: video_rate = 30Mbps
The message “no room for video” is returned.
(3) If video_rate
≠
“auto” and ts_rate = “auto”, the
ts_rate is calculated automatically with the
video_rate used as reference.
If an overflow occurs, the following message is
returned:
“too large data for TS”
“too large stream” (message for the front
panel)
(4) If video_rate = “auto” and ts_rate
≠
“auto”, the
video_rate is calculated automatically with the
ts_rate used as the reference.
If the calculated video_rate is larger than the
maximum allowable value for the mode, the
maximum value for the mode is made the
video_rate.
4:2:0: video_rate = 15Mbps
4:2:2 not IMX: video_rate = 30Mbps
4:2:2 IMX: video_rate = 50Mbps
If the calculated video_rate is smaller than the
following minimum allowable value for the
mode, it constitutes an error.
4:2:0: video_rate = 4Mbps
4:2:2 not IMX: video_rate = 6Mbps
4:2:2 IMX: video_rate = 30Mbps
The message “no room for video” is returned.
(5) If video_rate
≠
“auto” and ts_rate
≠
“auto”, the
ts_rate is calculated automatically with the
video_rate used as reference.
If the calculated value of ts_rate is larger than
the ts_rate, it constitutes an error.
“too large data for TS”
“too large stream”: (message for the front
panel)
5. Duplicate registration of PID
Whether audio_encmode and private_stream are on
or off, duplicate registration is not allowed except
for a combination of video and pcr. The PIDs are
checked in the following order:
video_pid
mpeg_ch12_pid
mpeg_ch34_pid
lpcm_pid
pcr_pid
program_map_pid
network_pid
pri_pi7)
If any duplicate registration of PID is detected, it
constitutes an error.
“video_pid & lpcm_pid are duplicated”
“PID video=lpcm” (message for the front panel)
“mpeg_ch12_pid & pri_pid are duplicated”
“PID mp12=private” (message for the front
panel)
