Function:

SV02: Adjusts the duty cycle of a S reel FG.

SV03: Adjusts the duty cycle of a T reel FG.

SV04: Adjusts the duty cycle of a capstan FG.

SV05: Adjusts the offset and friction of a S reel motor.

SV06: Adjusts the offset and friction of a T reel motor.

SV07: Adjusts the torque of a S reel motor.

SV08: Adjusts the torque of a T reel motor.

SV09: Adjusts the offset of a S/T tension regulator.

Operation:

Since the commands above are the same in operation, the SV02 (S Reel FG Duty Adjust)

command is described as an example.

(1) Enter command.

A cassette tape is automatically ejected when it has been inserted into this unit in this case.

Adjustment is then initiated. During adjustment, message “Adjusting.....” is displayed

on the screen.

(2) Message “Adjust Complete” is displayed on the screen when the adjustment succeeds.

Message “# Adjust Incomplete #” is displayed on the screen when the adjustmentfails.

For the failure of adjustment, refer to page 6-98.

(3) To save adjustment data in the NV-RAM (Non-volatile RAM), execute command

SV0C (Servo NV-RAM Save).

After other servo adjustment, servo adjustment data can be collectively saved in the NV-RAM.
