5-7. CTL/TC Head Position Adjustment

Note

The CTL/TC head position adjustment is closely related to the head height adjust-

ment and the head azimuth adjustment.

Be sure to perform adjustments (or checks) according to “In case the adjustment is

performed” in this section when the CTL/TC head position is adjusted.

Preparation

1. Turn the Power Off

2. Connect the Oscilloscope

CH-1: TP202/EQ-66 board

(REC AC  ENV signal)

CH-2: TP602/EQ-66 board (1/2 VD signal)

CH-3: TP100/EQ-66 board (REC AC SEL signal)

TRIG: TP602/EQ-66 board (1/2 VD signal)

3. Set the Alignment Tape

Set the YR2-1 and put a weight (about 1000 g)

on the cassette so that it does not rise up.
