A VALUE MUST BE ENTERED FOR THE CALIBRA-
TION FACTOR. IF THE FACTOR IS NOT CORRECT,
IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO PERFORM THE CA-
LIBRATION.
9-
After entering the 3 desired values, check the minimum
and maximum operating speeds on the controller screen.
When the speed that you wish to work at is between the-
se two values (in red, Fig. 6.48), open the guillotine door
and block it with the bolt, fill the dosing cells (in blue, Fig.
6.67) and then perform the test (in yellow, Fig. 6.67).
IF THE SPEED YOU WISH TO WORK AT IS ABOVE
THE MAXIMUM SPEED SHOWN BY THE CON-
TROLLER, YOU WILL NEED TO MOUNT MORE
SECTORS OF THE SAME TYPE IN THE ROLLER OR
CHANGE THE SECTOR TYPE. THEN CHANGE THE
CALIBRATION FACTOR TO THE NEW SETTING
(SEE SECTION 10.2 ROLLER DISPENSER CALI-
BRATION FACTOR TABLE).
IF THE SPEED YOU WISH TO WORK AT IS BELOW
THE MINIMUM SPEED SHOWN BY THE CONTRO-
LLER, YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE SECTORS
FROM THE ROLLER OR CHANGE THE SECTOR
TYPE. THEN CHANGE THE CALIBRATION FAC-
TOR TO THE NEW SETTING (SEE SECTION 10.2
ROLLER DISPENSER CALIBRATION FACTOR TA-
BLE).

With the controller settings made. Hold down the cali-
bration button (Fig. 6.49) to start the calibration test.
HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON TO COLLECT THE
MAXIMUM QUANTITY OF PRODUCT. THE MORE
PRODUCT YOU COLLECT, THE MORE PRECISE
THE CALIBRATION TEST WILL BE.

PERFORM THE CALIBRATION TEST ON ALL OF THE
MACHINE’S DISPENSERS. THE SEED DISPENSER IS
No. 1, THE FERTILIZER OR SECOND SEED DISPEN-
SER IS No. 2 (DEPENDING ON THE MACHINE MO-
DEL) AND FOR ALL THE INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL
FERTILIZER OR MICROGRANULATE KITS THEY ARE
Nos. 3 AND 4 (Fig. 6.50).
THE RATE IS THE TOTAL THAT THE MACHINE
WILL DISTRIBUTE. IF YOUR MACHINE MODEL IS
COMBINED AND YOU WISH TO USE BOTH DIS-
PENSERS FOR SEEDS, THE RATE TO BE ENTERED
FOR EACH DISPENSER WILL BE HALF OF THE TO-
TAL DESIRED DOSE.
