EQM Control Model
Setup and Operation
c.
Advanced settings
Access to the advanced settings is provided by a checkbox on the edit screen under basic information. It allows
access to additional Operation Limits such as Minimum and Maximum EQM and Minimum and Maximum Fan
RPM.
It also permits Under Select the Sensors setting the Turn Off and Turn On Deltas as well as the Gain for the fan
RPM.
The Deltas provide a means to keep the heater from cycling by not turning on the heater till it is a Delta above the
EQM Target and not turning it off until it is a Delta below the EQM Target.
There is a Minimum and Maximum Valve Voltage which control the butterfly valve opening. Since it is a 0-
10VDC Modmotor, a setting of 2V would mean a 20% opening. This would be useful if the burner didn’t light
with a 0V opening. Likewise, if the 10V setting provided too much heat it could be reduced without changing the
regulator settings.

Manual Test mode
The manual test mode permits testing without using real sensor information. This means if outside air conditions
are not able to produce sensor values to test the heater, that the operator can put in sensor values to perform the
test. These values are temporary and as soon as the operator leaves the test mode page it will revert too real
values. If the parameters are set and the unit is ready to run, select “Run”
