Connecting to your mobile device
a.
EQM Board
The EQM board is equipped with a WiFi dongle that provides access to the EQM computing and database with a
mobile device or laptop computer. When power is present on the EQM board the WiFi boots up (up to 2 min) and
is then accessible.
b.
Mobile Device or Laptop connecting
Your mobile device or laptop has a settings menu that will show the available WiFi connections. There will be a
connection labeled EQMT followed by a number. This will correspond to the number shown on the label on the
EQM board.
•
Select this WiFi connection.
•
Enter the password “vfdautomation” (don’t use “”)
•
Go to your browser and type in “192.168.8.1” (don’t use “”)
•
The dashboard should appear
