Burner 

The burner is unique in its size, baffle hole pattern, and side panels. The burner was developed to handle the high 
velocity air and the large variety of fan sizes that it accommodates. The low BTU design permits utilizing either 
Liquid Propane Vapor or Natural Gas.

Plumbing 

The plumbing for the EQM Ultra-Low heater is very simple and consists of seven main components: 
 

•

 

Pressure regulator. The regulator is used to drop the line pressure coming from the tank down to 
approximately 7” water column 

•

 

Relief Valve. The purpose of the relief is to vent any over pressure in the line  

•

 

Solenoid Valve. The Vapor Solenoid is normally closed and opens when it receives power from the 
Fenwal controller to open 

•

 

Modmotor. This Modmotor opens the butterfly to a position dictated by the 0-10VDC coming from 
the EQM board 

•

 

Pressure gage. This gage measures the pressure going to the Burner and is indicative of the fuel flow 
rate. 

•

 

Shutoff valve. This is a hand valve that can be used to totally stop or reduce the fuel going to the 
burner. 

•

 

Burner tube. The Burner tube has the orifice holes that meter the fuel and create an even heat
