Operation
a.
Run mode
The primary operational settings to get started are:
•
Target EQM and Grain type
•
Minimum and maximum EQM
o
the maximum EQM is primarily for wet weather if the heater is unable to drive the ambient air
EQM down to reasonable levels
o
if using a vfd, the minimum is of little consequence
•
Minimum and Maximum Temperature
o
the minimum temperature is primarily to keep grain from freezing.
o
the maximum temperature is to keep from heating up the grain when ambient air is too warm
•
Minimum and Maximum Humidity
o
if using a vfd, the minimum humidity is of little consequence
o
the maximum humidity is to prevent it from trying to operate in a heavy rain or if set lower to
minimize the heat required during wet conditions, this however means it will take more calendar
days to achieve the desired moisture.
•
Minimum fan rpm, the maximum is dictated by the fan.
b.
Stop and Change Limits
When in the run mode, the dashboard changes. There are a few extra pieces of information given in the header.
These are the software version, date it was updated, and the communication status.
The Run mode must be stopped in order to edit and must be restarted after editing.
