Power Supply / Breaker
The Power Supply / Breaker is located on a din rail in the control box and is the source for 110VAC and 24VDC
to the EQM Board. The 110VAC will not receive power if the High Limit Thermostat is tripped or if the fan is not
running
(Heater power must be interlocked fan control).
2.
Fenwal Burner Controller
The burner controller is powered by 110VAC when the heater is required and when there is air present for the
burner to safely start.
•
The 110VAC relay on the EQM Board switches power to the Fenwal L1 terminal.
•
The Fenwal has a built in purge delay for the opening of the vapor solenoid valve. It has an internal relay
for that purpose.
•
It has a built in ignition transformer to provide spark to ignite the flame.
•
It also works with the flame sensor to detect successful ignition and will close the solenoid valve if the
flame is not present.
