Grain type variances
Grain types absorb moisture differently. The same air that would produce 15% moisture for corn would produce
13% for wheat or soybeans. Also the amount of EQM air required to remove moisture in corn is much less than
what is required to add the same amount of moisture. In other words, it is much harder to add moisture than to
remove moisture for corn. The EQM curves and algorithms for each grain type are different.
