Selecting measurement units
The TV80 is prepared to work with several international standards for units of measurements.
The choices in the
Units
dialog box allow you to control which units of measurements
that are used.
Context
The TV80 user interface presents many measurements. These measurements are for
example related to depth, speed or temperature.Use the
Units
options to select the units of
measurements you wish to work with. The TV80 uses these in all presentations. You only
need to define these once.
Procedure
1 Select the
Display
icon.
The icon is located under the
Main
menu. It is used to open the
Display
menu.
2 On the
Display
menu, select
Units
.
Observe that the
Units
dialog box opens.
3 Adjust the settings to fit your requirements.
4 Select
OK
to save the chosen settings and close the dialog box.

Selecting the location of the menu
In some situations, you may find it useful to change the location of the menu because it can
hide part of the TV80 presentation.
Context
The menu system is by default located on the right hand side of the TV80 presentation. You
can place the menu on the right or on the left hand side according to your operational needs.
Tip
Unless you need to make frequent changes to the operational parameters, you may wish to
hide the menu from the TV80 presentation. To hide the menu, select
Menu
on the top bar.
To retrieve it, select
Menu
one more time.
