Depth read-out
The current water depth may be shown on the top bar.
Description
The TV80 is unable to read the water depth from any of the catch sensors. To see a valid
depth value on the top bar, you must set up your TV80 to import depth information from an
echo sounder.
Tip
By default, the depth is shown in meters. You can change the measurement unit in the
Units
dialog box. The
Units
dialog box is located on the
Display
menu.
Messages button description
The
Messages
button is located on the right side of the top bar.
Description
A new message is flagged with the
Messages
button on the top bar. The button
is flashing to draw your attention. The colour of the triangle reflects the severity
of the most serious message.
•
Yellow
: This indicates a warning.
•
Red
: This indicates an alarm.
If you hold the cursor over the button, a short list of the current messages is shown.
Select the button to open the
Messages
dialog box.
Operating system button descriptions
The operating system function buttons are located on the right side of the top bar. The
buttons are
Minimize
,
Maximize
and
Close
.
Minimize button
Select this button to minimize the entire TV80 presentation. The program is then
only shown as an icon on the operating system’s task bar. To reopen, select the
button one more time.
