Procedure
1
Place the sensor in the door adapter.
On the port door, the “down” element shall face down. On the starboard door, the
“side” element shall face down.

Place the door on a stable surface. Use a level and set the door in correct upright
position to create a 0 degrees pitch and 0 degrees roll reference.

Open the
Setup
menu.

On the
Setup
menu, select
Installation
.
Observe that the
Installation
dialog box opens.

At the bottom of the
Sensor list
page, select
Add New Sensor
.
The
Add New Sensor
dialog box opens.

Select
Yes
.

In the
PX Sensor Configurator
dialog box, select communication port and sensor type,
then select
Connect
.
The
PX MultiSensor Configurator
dialog box opens.

Select
Calibrate Sensor
.
The
(Pitch and roll) Calibration
dialog box opens.

Provided that the door is in level, select
Leveled
.

Tilt the door at least 20 degrees in the roll direction and make sure the physical door
pitch does not change.
The door must be tilted at least 20 degrees to get a correct calibration.

Once the door is stable in the tilted position, select
Tilted
.
The sensor is now offset adjusted for that specific door.

Select
Set
to accept the values.
Result
The selected door sensor is calibrated for the pitch and roll measurements.
