Start up the sonar in the wheelhouse by pressing the

Power

button on the Operating Panel for approximately two
seconds.

Check that the Transceiver Unit starts up after approximately
two minutes, and the two LEDs marked

COM

on the top of

the

SPB-31

circuit board starts to flash.

The COM and TXEN. LEDs are shown on figure 39 on page 117.

Switch off the sonar, and check that the Transceiver Unit is
switched off as well.
