• The vessel is berthed or at sea.

Neither tools nor instruments are required.

Caution

You must never set the SC90 to "ping" unless the transducer is submerged in water.
The transducer may be damaged if it transmits in open air.

Context

The Operating Panel contains all necessary control functions for normal operation of the
SC90. The controls provided by the Operating Panel are arranged in logical functional
groups. This offers you clear and easy operation with fast access to key functionality.

A

Main Switch

: The

Main Switch

buttons power the SC90 on and off. They also control

the lowering and hoisting of the transducer.

Symbol

: The

Symbol

buttons control the target markers. These provide exact latitude

and longitude positioning.

C

Mode

: The

Mode

buttons allow you to select your favourite presentation mode or

user setting.

Gain

: The

Gain

buttons offer gain control for the horizontal and vertical

presentations.

buttons offer range control for the horizontal and vertical

presentations.

Cursor

buttons offer menu and cursor control.

Tilt

buttons allow easy control of the tilt angles in the horizontal and
