To enter a new value instead of editing a character, you can delete the entire contents of the
input field.
Proceed as follows:

press to mark the entire field contents
2.
Enter the value with
TAB

.
3.
Press
ENTER

This confirms your entries. To cancel the entry, press
ESC
.
