SOPAS ET default setting
6.3
Establish communication with the NAV310
Important
For communication via TCP/-IP, the TCP/-IP protocol must be active on the PC.
On the connection of PC/host, following this sequence:
1. Switch on the PC.
2. Connect PC to the NAV310 using data cable.
3. Switch on the supply voltage for the NAV310.
The NAV310 performs a self-test and initialises itself.

Connect the data interfaces

6.3.2
Starting SOPAS ET and opening the scan assistant
1. Start SOPAS ET.
By default SOPAS ET opens the program window with the English user interface.
2. To change the language setting, in the start dialog box click C

and using the menu

change the language for the user interface to G

.
3. If the language setting has been modified, quit SOPAS ET and re-start.
4. In the dialog box, choose the option C
REATE
NEW
PROJECT
and confirm with OK.

Configuring the serial connection
