Distance to the reflector determined by the measuring core

Preset value
Parameterizable desired output value at initialization position
The preset can be triggered as follows depending on device version:
- DME5000-xx1, -xx4, -xx7: MF1
- DME5000-xx3:
MF1 or RS-422 command
- DME5000-xx2:
MF1 or PROFIBUS command
Function:
- Triggering the preset causes internal calculation of an offset value
that is added to the internal measured value.
(Offset = Preset value – internal measured value@preset position)
Attention
The version DME5000-xx2 permits specification of the
GSD parameter "Preset Mode" to determine if the
output value specified at the initialization position by
the preset is retained after PROFIBUS restart
(parameter to "Preset Mode") or whether the offset
value firmly stored by GSD is transferred to the DME
(parameter to "Offset Mode").
