If the hopper is not securely fastened, it may drop during conveyance, resulting in
malfunction.
Never convey the sampler with the shuttle tube attached.
The glass inside may be
damaged, resulting in malfunction and injuries. Although the through pipe does not
contain glass, the same is also true of the through pipe.
Do not convey the sampler with a particle size selector or an Andersen sampler attached.
When rotating the sampler, support the body securely and rotate it slowly. Rotating it
quickly might cause malfunction or injuries.
Installation
Conveyance
Be sure to check that the hopper is fastened as next sentence.
Ensure that the hopper is fitted into the hopper top stage fixing block and that the hole is
sealed with the sliding cover. Then tighten the hopper fixing screw.
Check that the quick clamp knobs are securely fastened on the screws at the quick clamp
knob storage area.
The product is designed to rotate to simplify conveyance. Check that the door and canopy are
locked, and that the knobs at the four places shown in the figure below are removed before
rotating the sampler.
