Mower drive system power flow

Power is transmitted from the pulley installed on the engine flywheel to the pulley on the PTO shaft directly below, via a

belt.

This mower uses a tension method to engage/disengage power via belt tension, which is controlled smoothly by

operating the mower clutch lever.

The power from the PTO shaft is transmitted via the universal joint to the mower transmission.
