Speaker delay setting
When some of the speakers are at a different distance from the listening point, you
can select the speaker delay to make it seem as though the speaker distances are
the same.
Initial setting of the distance of all the speakers is 2.0 m.
Measure the distance between each speaker and the listening position, and set
the speaker delay.
In the above illustration, the front speakers, centre speaker, and subwoofer are posi-
tioned at 3 m, and the surround speakers are at 4 m from the listening position.
This unit calculates the delay time automatically according to the distance you set,
and provide the same effect as if they are placed at the same distance from the lis-
tening position.

Press the SET UP AMP button.

Within 10 seconds, press the or button to select "SP DELAY",
and press the ENT button.

Within 30 seconds, press the or button to select the desired
speaker.

Within 30 seconds, press the or button to select the distance
and press the ENT button.

You can change the distance in 0.1 m steps.

To set the distance of other speakers, repeat the operation from step 3.
