6.6 Routine maintenance
6.6.1 Recommended calibration frequency
After start-up, daily analyser calibration is suggested. The analyser requires
typically one day for stabilization. After initial start-up, the time between
calibrations can be increased. The time between calibrations is determined by the
required accuracy and by experience.
6.6.2 Leak testing
It is recommended to periodically checking for leaks inside the analyser,
especially the fuel connections. Use SNOOP or other suitable leak-test liquid. Do
not use any organic liquid or soap.
6.6.3 Verify fan
It is important to verify that fan works properly. The fan is not only used for
cooling the analyser but also to avoid fuel build up in the analyser in case of a
leak. Verify the fan periodically.
6.6.4 Exhaust
Verify that there is no water or debris in the exhaust tube. This will affect the
measurement.
