8.3. Game assignments
Select GAME ASSIGNMENTS to display the current game settings and make changes.
Changes to settings are not enabled until Game Assignments is exited. After changing settings, be sure to
exit the Test Mode.
Use the SERVICE Button to move the cursor to the desired test item. Press the TEST Button to enter the
selected item's test.
Perform the following settings for each item.
GAME DIFFICULTY:
Set the level of difficulty to one of five levels; VERY EASY -> MEDIUM EASY ->NORMAL -> MEDIUM
HARD -> VERY HARD.
LIFE SETTING INITIAL LIFE
The number of lives the player will start the game with. Can be set between 1 and 9.
However, cannot be set higher than the MAX LIFE setting.
LIFE SETTING MAX LIFE:
The maximum number of lives a player may have. Can be set between 1 and 9.
BLOOD COLOR:
You can set the color of blood to one of two settings; RED or BROWN.
VIOLENCE:
You can set the level of damage for the enemies to one of two settings; NORMAL or MILD.
When set to MILD, the violence of enemy deaths will be toned down.
ADVERTISE SOUND:
You can set the Attract Mode (Advertise) sound to ON or OFF.
After changing the settings, select EXIT and press the TEST Button to return to the Game Test Mode
screen.
