Inspect load-bearing parts (such as the suspension) for deformation, wear

Leak test
During operating vacuum generation and with gripper suction area
completely covered with smooth air-impermeable workpiece (e.g. metal
plate), the system underpressure at the vacuum manometer must (see
point 4, pos. 7) must show a negative pressure, which is maximum 10%
below the maximum achivable negative pressure of the used vacuum
generator. Example: Vacuum generator reaches maximal -0,5bar. At the
manometer a negative pressure between -0,45 and -0,5bar must be
indicated. X X
Vacuum examination
During operating vacuum generation and without workpiece sucked to
the gripper the system underpressure at the vacuum manometer must
show a negative pressure between -0,2 and -0,4bar. X X
Visual inspection of check valves and flow resistors regarding dirt X X
Have the dust filter and silencer insert been cleaned? X X
Are the vacuum hoses in good condition (not brittle, not kinked, no signs
of abrasion) and thus free of leaks? X X
Is the rating plate still on the unit? X
Is the Operating Manual available and are the users familiar with it? X
Clean the sealing plate with a soft brush and a vacuum cleaner to remove
dirt such as wood chips and dust deposits X
Check all connections and screws and tighten them as necessary X
Check all hoses and connections for leaks X
Remark:
Suspension, vacuum generator, vacuum hoses, dust filter are no part of the equipment FXC-HD.
