7.3 Reset functions
It is possible to reset the EQJW245 to the factory setting. To do this, go to the
SERVice level (see section 3.1.1) and set parameter SP04 to:
1 Reset SERVice and communication parameters •
2 Reset switching commands •
3 Reset SERVice and communication parameters and switching commands •

The ‚Sensor fault‘ symbol (see 2.1) appears if there is a short-circuit or an
interruption in sensor supply lines. The following list states how the controller
behaves if individual sensors fail.
If an outdoor sensor is faulty, operation takes place at a fl ow temperature setpoint
of 50 °C unless the maximum fl ow temperature (set under parameter SP22) is
less than 50 °C, in which case operation takes place at the maximum fl ow
temperature.
If the fl ow temperature sensor is faulty, the valve assumes a valve position of
30%.
If the return temperature sensor is faulty, the controller operates as if no return
temperature sensor were present.
If the room sensor fails, the fl ow temperature setpoint is no longer adjusted in
accordance with the room temperature.
If the domestic water sensor is faulty, no more domestic water preparation takes
place if only one domestic water sensor has been parameterised. If 2 domestic
water sensors have been parameterised, domestic water preparation continues
on the basis of the 2nd domestic water sensor.
If the 2nd domestic water sensor is faulty, domestic water preparation continues
on the basis of T

If the 2nd fl ow sensor for domestic water is faulty, the controller operates as if no
2nd fl ow sensor were present.
