Pump anti-jamming protection
If the function has not been deactivated, a daily check (12.00 hrs.) takes place as
to whether the individual pumps have been operating within the last 24 hours.
Each pump that has not been operating is briefl y (for approx. 1 minute) actuated
to prevent blocking. The individual pumps are actuated sequentially.
Summer/winter or winter/summer time changeover
Thanks to the calendar time switch integrated into the equitherm
®
EQJW245, the
winter/summer time changeover and the summer/winter time changeover are
carried out automatically. The date for the changeovers is specifi ed by the values
for SERVice parameters SP51 and SP52. A value of 16.02 corresponds to 16
February. If the date entered is a Sunday, the changeover takes place on the
same day. Otherwise, the changeover is performed on the following Sunday. For
the summer/winter time changeover, the time is put back from 03:00 hours to
02:00 hours. The winter/summer time changeover takes place at 02:00 hours. The
time is put forward to 3:00 hours. If SERVice parameters SP51 and SP52 have
the same values, no summer/winter time changeover is performed.
Heating 1 optimisation
When the optimisation function (SP50 = 1) is enabled, it has the effect that the
selected room temperature is actually reached in normal mode at the point in
time that was set in the switching programme. The usage times should therefore
be set as they are actually needed. You should not set the programme so that the
controller has additional time to warm up – which would, of course, make sense
without the optimisation function. Optimisation provides energy-optimised control
by largely preventing unnecessarily high room temperatures outside of the usage
times.
The function can be used only in conjunction with a room-temperature sensor.
SP08 (room-temperature measurement) must be switched on, i.e. have a value of
either 1 or 2. The optimisation function moves the start of heating to an optimum
time, based on the current room temperature value and the characteristic of both
the building and the heating system that has been determined by the controller.
The start of heating is moved to the latest possible time in order to achieve the
desired temperature at the time set in the switching programme. The start takes
place a maximum of 8 hours before the relevant switching time. The maximum
permissible fl ow temperature (SP22) is used during heating operation, whereby
the fl ow temperature is raised gradually rather than suddenly.
Furthermore, the switch-off time for normal mode is also moved to an earlier
time (up to 1 hour earlier) if this is possible without signifi cantly undercutting the
desired room temperature by the end of the normal mode as per the switching
programme.
In reduced mode, the room‘s target temperature is monitored and – if undercut –
a (brief) warm-up with maximum permissible fl ow temperature is carried out until
the target temperature has been exceeded by 1 K. No long-term fl ow-temperature
control as per the heating characteristic takes place. When the optimisation
function is on, it is indicated by either the sun or the moon symbol fl ashing. So as
not to interrupt the heating operation, the controller carries out a one-off charge
