Connectivity Preferences

Connection

The Connection Preferences screen enables you to 
define the settings used to connect your PDA phone to 
other devices. The screen displays a list of available 
configurations that are to be further defined.

Creating a Connection

You can create custom configurations.

To create a new connection:

1. Tap 

New...

.

2. Tap the 

Connect to

 pick list and select the way you can 

connect your PDA phone to a computer or modem.

3. Tap the 

Via

 pick list and select a connection method.

4. Only the connection involving modems have 

Dialing

 and 

Volume

 options.

Tap the 

Dialing

 pick list and select 

TouchTone

TM

 

or 

Rotary

. Tap the 

Volume

 pick list and select the speaker 

volume.

5. When you finish, tap 

OK

.

Editing Connections

You can edit a connection profile to adjust the 
communication speed; you can similarly edit other 
connections or settings or create a custom connection.
