Installing Add-on Applications 

and Files

Install Tool in the Palm

TM

 Desktop software makes it 

easy to install applications and files during the next 
HotSync operation. You can even install compatible files 
directly from a Zip file. Depending on the file type, 
Install Tool determines whether to install the files on 
your PDA phone or on an expansion card.

To install applications and files:

1. Copy or download the application(s) or file(s) you want 

to install onto your computer.

2. Double-click the 

Palm Desktop

 icon on your Windows 

desktop.

3. Click 

Install

 on the left pane of the Palm Desktop 

dialogue box.

4. In the User drop-down list, select the name that 

corresponds to your PDA phone.
