Using Phonebook

Creating a Phonebook Entry

A record in Phonebook is called an entry. You can create
entries on your PDA phone’s memory or the SIM card
installed in the PDA phone, or you can use Palm

TM

Desktop software to create entries on your computer
and then transfer the entries to your PDA phone with
your next HotSync

®

operation.

Palm

TM

Desktop software also has data import

capabilities so that you can load database files into
Phonebook on your PDA phone. See the Palm

TM

Desktop

online help for more information.

To create a new Phonebook entry in the PDA phone’s
memory:

1. Tap

New

2. Tap

Phone

.

3. Enter the last name of the person you want to add to

your Phonebook.

4. Tap the

First Name

field and enter the first name of the

person.

5. Enter any other information that you want to include in

this entry.
