OPERATION

CAUTION:

The inflator is capable of inflating to 150 PSI, 10.34 BAR,
or 10.55 Kg/Cm

2

. To avoid over inflation, carefully follow

instructions on items to be inflated. To avoid product
damage, never exceed recommended pressures.

APPLICATIONS

You may use this inflator for the purpose listed below:



Powering 12 V DC devices



Inflating  high  pressure  items  like  motorcycle,  car,  and

bicycle tires



Illuminating any areas requiring additional light

NOTE:

The inflator is not designed for commercial application.

INSTALLING THE FUSE

See Figure 2, page 12

The inflator is shipped with a 15 A JAT blade type automotive
fuse that must be installed prior to use.

CHARGING THE INFLATOR

See Figure 3, page 12.

The inflator can be charged using the AC adaptor/charger

or the 12 V adaptor.



Allow at least 25 hours of charge time when using the AC
adaptor/charger or 9 hours when using the 12 V DC adap-
tor charger before initial use of the inflator. Subsequent
charging times can take up to 25-30 hours using the AC
adaptor/charger or up to 9-10 hours using the 12 V DC
adaptor/charger.



Do not operate the inflator, worklight or 12 V receptacle
while charging.



The inflator should be charged in a cool, dry place.



The battery charging should be performed at tempera-
tures between 68°F and 77°F.



Charge the inflator only with the charger provided.



The AC charger should be disconnected from the inflator
any time the unit is not in use.



To improve battery life, store inflator indoors in a controlled
climate.



The battery does not have to be fully discharged before
recharging.



When fully charged, the inflator can be safely stored at
temperatures between 68°F to 77°F for a period of up to
52 weeks, before it requires charging.

Charging with the AC adaptor/charger:



Connect the AC adaptor/charger to the unit and plug the

cord into a power supply.



The red LED will light up during charge. Press the diagnos-
tic button to determine charge status. For more details,
refer to the “LED Functions of Inflator” section later in the
manual.



When charging is complete the red and yellow LED light up
and remain lit until unit is disconnected from power source.

Charging with the 12 V adaptor:



Connect the unit to a power supply using the 12 V adap

-

tor. Make sure the power supply is 12 V DC.

NOTE:

 Charging the unit using a vehicle’s 12 V receptacle

when the engine is not running will drain the vehicle’s
battery.



The red LED will light up during charge. Press the diagnostic
button to determine charge status. For more details, refer to
the “LED Functions of Inflator” section later in the manual.



When charging is complete the red and yellow LEDs will
light up and remain lit until unit is disconnected from
power source.

LED FUNCTIONS OF INFLATOR

See Figure 4, page 12.

To determine the inflator’s level of charge, depress the

diagnostic button. When the button is pressed, the LEDs

provide feedback:



Red LED on: Charge is needed



Red and yellow LED on: Inflator has moderate charge



All LEDs on: Inflator is fully charged

12 V RECEPTACLE

See Figure 5, page 13.

The inflator can be used to power other 12 V devices. To
power products using the inflator, plug the 12 V DC adaptor
of the device you wish to power into the inflator’s receptacle.
The inflator will supply power to the device until the inflator
runs out of charge or the device is disconnected from the
receptacle.

NOTE:

To avoid damaging the fuse, never charge an item

rated over 15A.

CAUTION:

Do not use the 12 V receptacle to power items rated less
than 12 V or items without proper protection. Failure to
heed this warning could result in damage to the inflator
or the item being powered.

USING THE WORKLIGHT

See Figure 6, page 13.

To turn the worklight ON, depress the worklight on/off switch
to the on position. To turn it OFF, depress the switch to the
off position.

WARNING:

Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and
