7.9 Firmware 

update 

 

Roland systems are constantly enhanced. In order to use new functions, firmware update is 
required.  

For performing such an update, the Double Sheet Detector must be connected to the RS232-
interface of the computer via the supplied cable. In the configuration mode the firmware update 
must be selected, then the following messages are alternatingly displayed:

The update will then be executed via the “Phytec“ Flash Tool. This tool can be found on the
