R&S FSQ Preparing for Use
Setup
➢
Drive usage is checked according to the following rules:
• first, the R&S FSQ checks for a connected memory stick
• if a memory stick is not recognized, then the R&S FSQ uses the internal hard disk.
Note that the path and file name are reset to their default values after an instrument
PRESET .

Change the drive by moving the rotary knob until the focus is on the Save In field.

Press the CURSOR RIGHT key to open the dropdown menu and select the drive you want
to save the file to with the CURSOR UP and CURSOR DOWN keys. Confirm your selection
by pressing the ENTER key.

Select a subfolder by moving the rotary knob until the file / subfolder list is in focus. The
selected file or subfolder in focus is framed by dotted line.

Use the CURSOR UP or CURSOR DOWN keys to select a specific folder or file. To change
the path or select a file, confirm your selection with the ENTER key.
Note that the R&S FSQ overwrites existing files with the new data.
