User Manual 1173.9463.02 ─ 02

the instrument into operation and connect external devices. The application examples in
the other chapters are also based on an R&S CMW500 with display.

The measurement functionality of the two instrument types is identical. You can test all
measurement examples reported in this manual using an R&S CMW500 without display
that is controlled from the Graphical User Interface displayed on an external monitor or
PC.

For specific information concerning faceless instruments, refer to your quick start guide.
