Basic Shooting

Using the Grid Templates

A grid can be displayed as an aid to composing pictures. There are two grid templates.

Set the Mode dial to [

] and then press the MENU button.

The Record menu will be displayed.

Press the

▼

and

▲

buttons to select

Grid [GRID TEMPLATE] and then press
the ENTER

Select

button.

Set grid display to on or off. Press the
MENU

Change

button to display the grid

and then press the ENTER

button.

• The two grid templates are alternately turned

on and off each time the MENU

Change

button

is pressed.

Press the CANCEL

EXIT

button to

return to the record mode.

Press the shutter release button to take
the picture.

The grid template will be displayed on the LCD
monitor.

Tips

To cancel the grid template setting

• To turn off the grid template, select [OFF] and press the ENTER
