12.16 SKEW CORRECTION

1. Open the front door and remove the right inner cover [A].

2. Turn DIP SW-3 on the error reset board [B].

3. Input "99900" using the number keys on the operation unit to access SP

mode.

4. Press the number "9" on the display to access SP adjustment.

5. Go to page 8 by pressing "Next Pg." on the display.

6. Set a large size paper (A3 or DLT) on the original table of the ARDF.

NOTE: Both original and copy paper in tray must be the same size.

7. Press the Start key. When the original stops, open the transport unit

gently and check the original position.

8. If the front side of the original is advanced, remove the front cover of the

original feed unit (2 screws) and loosen the screw [C]. If the rear side of
the original is advanced, tighten the screw [C].

NOTE: 1. Factory setting of the gap [D] is 3.5 mm.

2. Too much pressure of the relay roller may prevent the to

opening and closing the entrance cover [E].
