9.4 HOT ROLLER STRIPPER AND PRESSURE ROLLER

STRIPPER PAWL REPLACEMENT

9.4.1 Preparation

1. Pull out the fusing unit and remove the fusing unit release lever [A] (1

screw) and fusing cover [B] (3 screws).

2. Remove the top fusing cover stoppers [C] (front and rear: 1 screw each)

and unhook the front and rear spring.

3. Turn the top fusing cover [D] 1/4 of a turn counterclockwise and lift it up.

9.4.2 Hot Roller Stripper Replacement

1. Remove the fusing exit guide plate [E] (4 screws).

2. Unhook the springs [F] and slide out the hot roller stripper pawls [G].

9.4.3 Pressure Roller Stripper Pawl Replacement

1. Open the inverter unit [H] and remove the fusing exit guide plate [I] (2

crews).

2. Remove the pressure roller strippers pawls [J] (2 screws and 1 spring

each).
