9. Operation
a) Inserting batteries into the remote control
•
Switch off the transmitter using the on/off switch (A) ("OFF" = off).
•
Unscrew the screw (G) on the battery compartment lid (F) with a suitable screwdriver.
• Then carefully flip the battery compartment lid (F) up.
• Insert a 9 V block battery into the battery compartment, ensuring that the polarity is correct (pay attention to the
po and negative/- poles, see the information in the battery compartment and on the battery).
•
Close the battery compartment, close the battery compartment cover (F) to. Then screw the screw (G) tight again
(do not use force!).
When using a rechargeable battery, the operating time is reduced. For safety reasons, we recommend
using an alkaline battery instead of a rechargeable battery.
b) Inserting the drive battery in the vehicle
• Turn the vehicle first using the on/off switch (H)
on the bottom ("OFF" = switched off).
•
Unscrew the screw (I) on the rechargeable bat-
tery compartment cover with a suitable screw-
driver and remove it.
•
Connect the drive battery to the appropriate plug
(J) on the vehicle until the plug clicks into place.
The plug and socket are protected against polar-
ity reversal by their special shape.
Do not use force when connecting the drive
battery. The plug can be connected with very little
force.
•
Insert the drive battery in the battery compartment and replace the cover, so that it can be closed correctly. Then
screw the screw (I) tight again (do not use force!).
