5. Safety instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by non-compliance with these safety
instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling
or non-compliance with the safety instructions! Such cases will void the warranty/guarantee.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn tyres, worn-out gear wheels) and accidental damages
(e.g. broken vehicle parts) are excluded from the guarantee and warranty.
Dear Customer, these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your
own safety and that of other people. This is why you should read this section very carefully before using
the product!
a) General information
Caution, important note!
Operating the model may cause damage to property and/or individuals. Therefore, make sure that you
are sufficiently insured when using the model, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance. If you already
have such a policy, check with your insurance company that the use of this model is covered by the policy.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and approval
reasons.

The product is not suitable for children aged 0 - 3 years old, as there is a risk of suffocation from the
ingestion of small parts, and a danger of injury. We recommend a minimum age of 8 years.
•
Children who play with the product must be supervised by a responsible adult. Do not take any risks
when using the product! Your own safety and that of your environment depends completely on your
responsible use of the model.
•
Do not leave packaging material unattended, as it may become dangerous toy for children.
•
If you have any questions that are not answered by these operating instructions, contact us (see chapter
1 for contact information) or an experienced technician.
b) USB charger
•
The USB charger should only be used to charge the 7-cell NiMH drive batteries (or an identical replace-
ment drive battery) supplied with the vehicle. Never charge other types of rechargeable batteries or
non-rechargeable batteries. There is a great risk of fire or explosion!

Do not connect the USB charger to the USB port of a computer/notebook or USB hub because the cur-
rent is not high enough for charging.
Use, for example, a commercially available USB power adaptor that provides an output current of at
least 2 A.
•
The USB charger should only be used in dry indoor areas. It may not become moist or wet. Avoid direct
sunlight, intense heat and cold temperatures. Keep the product away from dust and dirt.
