Screen 7.3 gives the installer the option to run the pumps manually for dispelling air from the
system during commissioning at first system fill. The primary pump is located within the heat
pump may need to be run for several minutes and several times to purge the air from the
heat exchanger and pipe work. During the pump manual running air will need to be bleed
from the heat pump as described in Section 9.1. Once bleed the flow rate will appear to be
no less than 40 L/s. Each manifold pump should be subsequently ran and bleed at the heating
manifolds until all air is purged and system functions without the risk of air locks.
