5) Press the circle button FILENAME: ... and put the video keyboard program file with
extension .Hex (last version released sw).
6) Press the START button. Wait few minutes to load the sw. During the loading, the
video keypad is disabled. When finished, switch OFF and ON the ecr.
7) Proceed as follows to check that the new SW has loaded correctly. Key in

in
any mode. The version of the software currently loaded appears at the bottom right
of the screen (ex.. Rel. 1.1.0 VT).
8) Switch the cash register off and remove the connection cable.
9) Check that the paper roll is still in the right position and proceed to program the
cash register.
NOTE:
This procedure does not delete the configuration of the cash register (header,
departments, etc.), but only restores the keypad display to its default settings (see section
4.5).
