2.13 PERIODICAL CHECKING
This procedure allows to enable an acoustic and visual signal when the register is turned
on, so that the service center can carry out the annual
periodical check
.
By default, the check is disabled; enable it by entering the SERVICE mode (5 + [KEY]) and
scrolling the menu with the [-%] key until “
Period. Check
” (Periodical Check) is visualized.
Press [CASH] to start.
Press the [-%] key and press [CASH].
After a few seconds, insert as required on the display
the day, month and year in which the next periodical
check is to be executed, confirming each value with the
[CASH] key.
Insert the day with values from 1 to 31
Insert the month with values from 1 to 12
Insert the year (four digits; ex. 2010)
The display returns to the main menu; to exit the menu press [Void].
The periodical check is signaled when the device is turned on twelve days before the
programmed date. Press [CL] to stop the signal and continue operation.
Signaling will repeat each time the register is turned on until the technician changes the
programmed date.
2.14 PROGRAMMED VERSION (FIRMWARE)
To visualize the current firmware version, enter the SERVICE mode (5 + [KEY]) and scroll
the menu with the [+%] key until “
Fw Release
” (Program Version) is visualized.
Press [CASH].
The current firmware version is visualized. To exit press
[CL]or [CASH].
The display returns to the main menu; to exit the menu press [Void].
