track
heading
data
of
fered
by
the
navigation
receiver
is
indicated.
Actuation
of
the
symbol
key
results
in
that
the
audible
signalling
is
silenced.
T
he
text
line
becomes
dark,
the
track
heading
data
is
accepted
as
set
heading
presetting
and
appears
in
the
SET
HEADING
indication.
The
O
FF
TRACK
and
OFF
H
EADING
m
onitoring
will
be
active
only
w
hen
the
SET
HEADING
presetting
is
reached.
If
the
ship
is
still
outside
the
pre
--defined
monitoring
limits,
sub
--
segments
of
the
bar
graph
indication
will
be
flashing.
This
track
run

phase
is
terminated
as
soon
as
the
planned
track
has
been
reached.

shows

The
resulting

heading

The

the
symbol
key

heard.
On
actuating
the
symbol
key
,the
track
heading
value
changes
into
the
SET
HEADING
indication.
The
text
line
becomes
dark,
the
audible
signalling
is
silenced.

he
track
change
manoeuvre
is
carried
out
via
the
PILOTST
A
R
D
.
If
the
track
change
manoeuvre
cannot
be
initiated
w
ithin
an
adequate
time,
an
exact
track
control
is
not
longer
possible.
The
ship
w
ill
continue
on
the
still
valid
track
course
of
the
former
track
section,
thus
leaving
the
planned
route.
The
audible
and
visual
signalling
remain
in
existence
until
a
decision
is
m
ade
(acknowledgement
of
new
track
heading
or
change
--over
to
another
operating
m
ode).
