1. Verify you are connected to the device.

2. Select Menu > Copy Alarm Files From the Device.

3. Enter the IP address of the device.

NOTE:

To view the IP address, select Menu > Advanced Menu > Show Network Name and IP on the
device.

4. Press OK.

NOTE:

If you are unable to connect to the device, a message displays indicating you are unable to con-
nect.

The desktop application connects to the device, copies the files from the device to your PC, and displays
the directory path into which the files were copied. For example:
C:\Documents and Settings\Webcast User\Desktop\MT Desktop Software\Alarms\

NOTE:

Once you copy the file(s), Rapiscan Systems recommends you delete the files from the device.

5. Press OK.

Delete Alarm Files On The Device

NOTE:

This function only deletes the alarm files in the

alarms

folder from the device. It does not delete the

archived files in the

Alarms-Archive-mm-dd-yyyy

folder.

1. Verify you are connected to the device.

2. Select Menu > Delete Alarm Files on the Device.

A message displays confirming you want to delete the files.

3. Press Yes.

4. Enter the IP address of the device

NOTE:
