Insert sample trap into tip of wand

4. Release the button.

5. Affix the hole in the wide end of the sample trap over the tab on the underside of the sample wand.

6. Use firm contact.

7. Sample the appropriate area in one direction, one time.

8. Sample the most-touched area last.

9. Press the button, and remove the sample trap from the sample wand.

10. Immediately insert the sample trap into the desorber.

11. Press Trig, the green button on the navigation pad, or the green button on the device handle.

The device automatically analyzes the sample.

If an alarm is detected, a message displays in the status bar.

Discard the

sample trap immediately, and follow your organization’s alarm resolution protocol.
