19.6 Burner Control Module
BLINK CODE SYSTEM FAILURE RECOMMENDED TROUBLESHOOTING
Code 1-1 *Lo w AC Line
Voltage*
Lo w AC Line detected.
1. Check the relay mod u le and display mod u le
connections.
2. Reset and seq u ence the relay mod u le.
3. Check the 7800 po w er s u pply and make s u re that
freq u ency and v oltage meet specifications.
4. Check the b ack u p po w er s u pply, as appropriate.
Code 1-2*AC Q u ality
Pro b lem*
Excessi v e noise or de v ice

Code 2-1*Unexpected
Flame Signal* Flame sensed w hen no flame
is expected d u ring STANDBY
or PURGE.
1. Check that flame is not present in the com bu stion
cham b er; correct any errors.
2. Make s u re that the flame amplifier and flame detector
are compati b le.
3. Check the w iring and correct any errors.
4. Remo v e the flame amplifier and inspect its connections.
Reseat the amplifier.
5. Reset and seq u ence the relay mod u le.
6. If the code reappears, replace the flame amplifier and/or
the flame detector.
7. If the fa u lt persists, replace the relay mod u le.
Code 2-2*Flame Signal

1. Meas u re the flame signal. If one exists, v erify that it
meets specifications.
2. Make s u re that the flame amplifier and flame detector
are compati b le.
3. Inspect the main f u el v al v e(s) and v al v e connection(s).
4. Verify that the f u el press u re is s u fficient to s u pply f u el to
the com bu stion cham b er. Inspect the connections to the
f u el press u re s w itches. Make s u re they are f u nctioning
properly.
5. Inspect the airflo w s w itch and make s u re that it is
f u nctioning properly.
6. Check the flame detector sighting position; reset and
recycle. Meas u re the flame signal strength. Verify that it
meets specifications. If not, refer to the flame detector
and/or flame amplifier checko
u t proced u res in the
installation instr u ctions.
7. Replace the flame amplifier and/or the flame detector, if
necessary.
8. If the fa u lt persists, replace the relay mod u le.
Code 2-3*Flame Signal

1. Make s u re the flame detector and flame amplifier are
compati b le.
2. Remo v e the flame amplifier and inspect its connections.
