Procedure:

1. Modify DMM setting to DCV/200mV

2. Connect Channel 1 (then 2 and 3) output to the DMM. Use 50

Ω

Feedthrough

termination at the DMM end of the cable

3. Adjust RV2 (channel 1), RV4 (channel 2) and RV7 (channel 3) for a DMM

reading of 0V

10mV reading

4. Modify 3153 offset setting for all three channels to 4V

5. Modify DMM setting to DCV/20V

6. Adjust RV3 (channel 1), RV5 (channel 2) and RV6 (channel 3) for a DMM

reading of 4V

20mV reading

7. Modify 3153 offset setting for all three channels to -4V

8. Verify DMM reading for all three channels of –4V

20mV. If reading is not within

range, then compensate with RV3 (channel 1), RV5 (channel 2) and RV6
(channel 3).

9. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until DMM readings are within range
