JDSU Xgig

JDSU Xgig

®

 is a unified, integrated platform employing a unique chassis and 

blade architecture to provide users with the utmost in scalability and flexibility. 
Various blades support a wide range of protocols and can be easily configured to 
act as a protocol Analyzer, Jammer, bit error rate tester (BERT), traffic generator, 
and Load Tester, all without changing hardware.

Xgig can be placed either directly in-line on a link, or connected using the JDSU 
family of copper or optical test access points (TAPs). Additionally, multiple Xgig 
chassis can be cascaded together to provide up to 64 time-synchronized 
analysis/test ports across multiple protocols, enabling correlation of traffic across 
several devices and network domains.

The Xgig Analyzer provides complete visibility into network behaviors with 
100 percent capture at full line rate. Xgig is the only protocol Analyzer 
supporting multiple protocols, all within the same chassis.

The Xgig Jammer manipulates live network traffic to simulate errors in real 
time, enabling users to verify the performance of error recovery processes.

The Xgig Load Tester enables developers to quickly and easily verify data 
integrity, monitor network performance, and identify a wide range of 
problems across even the most complex network topologies that would be 
too difficult to troubleshoot with an analyzer alone.

JDSU Medusa Labs Test Tool Suite

The Medusa Labs Test Tool (MLTT) Suite 3.0 provides a comprehensive set of 
benchmarking, data integrity, and stress test tools that uncover and eliminate data 
corruption errors, undesirable device and system data pattern sensitivities, I/O 
timeouts, I/O losses, and system lockup.
