Verify Equipment Connectivity
To verify that all equipment is logged in and operating properly:
1. Verify LAN management capability on all devices through the associated
device management application.
2. Verify that servers and Converged Network Adapters are logged into an
FCoE switch under both Ethernet (eth1/16) and Fibre Channel (vfc116)
protocols.
Figure 4-4 shows the Device Manager interface for the Cisco
Nexus 5000 FCoE switch.

3. Verify that storage devices have logged into a switch ( Figure 4-5 ). Fibre
Channel and FCoE storage devices log into Fibre Channel or FCoE
switches; iSCSI storage devices log into Ethernet or FCoE switches.
