The next step is to verify that the switch allows more TCP traffic when more
bandwidth is available.
Figure 5-25
shows that the TCP traffic increases to
741MBps after stopping the FCoE traffic. Again, the switch is behaving properly.

Table 5-4
summarizes the throughput achieved for the previous three tests.
The test continues cycling FCoE traffic and TCP traffic on and off. The results
show that the switch continues to enforce the ETS configuration, allows both TCP
and FCoE to use additional bandwidth when available, and maintains minimum
guaranteed bandwidth to both traffic classes.
